Education

The Home Builders Association, Inc. sponsors many Education programs throughout the year offering membership and non-members alike the opportunity to improve business skills and to learn about trends and issues affecting the industry. The Education committee presents monthly workshops to increase knowledge skills in all areas. Richard Salm Scholarship

The Richard Salm Scholarship was named after a Builder Member, Richard Salm, who dedicated his life to the building industry.  He was a major builder and developer from North Fond du Lac.  Dick was Past President of the Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties, a Life Director of both the Wisconsin Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.  He joined the Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties in 1970 and was a member until his death in 2000.

The Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties, Inc. recently held their annual General Membership Meeting on May 18th.  Students that were selected to receive the Richard Salm Scholarship were invited by the HBA to attend the General Membership Meeting to receive their award.  

In the past 14 years the Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties has given out over $40,000 in various scholarships.
